Amy Hartman specializes in finding solutions to complex financial problems. With experience in all aspects of the industry from highly technical financial modeling and development pro forma projections to investment sales and complex transaction management, Amy leverages her breadth of experience to get results for Ethos clients. She brings extra value to each transaction because she understands the perspectives of various stakeholders, and has an insider’s perspective on development.

Amy came to Ethos with over a decade of commercial real estate experience in several different roles. In Portland, she worked for Palindrome Communities, an affordable housing developer, where she managed the financing for mixed low-income and market-rate housing projects. Prior to Palindrome, she worked for Heartland LLC, a Seattle consultancy advising clients on raising capital, ground-up development, and large-scale public-private real estate partnerships.

Amy holds a Master’s in Real Estate Development from the University of Washington and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Colorado. She sits on the Women’s Leadership Initiative Member Council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Board of Portland’s ReBuilding Center.

When she is not at work, you can find Amy training for a running race, backpacking, or climbing the volcanoes of the Pacific Northwest.

Amy currently holds real estate licenses in Texas and Oregon.
